EDGE is a literary journal published each winter featuring provocative fiction, poetry, essays, and art. We appreciate a variety of styles and our tastes are very eclectic. We usually aren't excited about genre pieces (horror, children's, romance, etc.) unless they're really unique and strongly written. We recommend reading a past issue of EDGE.
• Submissions are closed at this time.
• We will accept up to 6 poems or 5,000 words of prose.
• Novel excerpts should be self-contained.
• Sample issues of journal can be purchased for $12. CLICK HERE to order online.
• Contributors will receive one issue of the journal.
• Simultaneous submissions are okay; please label as such and let us know if your piece is accepted elsewhere.
• We will be accepting submission via email ONLY. Please identify “EDGE submission” in subject line.
• Submissions must be attached as a Word doc: do not submit with doc.x extensions.
• Generally, we respond in 4-6 weeks, but it can be longer; please allow us at least a couple of months before querying.
